Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johny Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milan Zitska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rico might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bolt Thrower - The IVth Crusade . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Johny Rico! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Milan Zitska! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zitska tries to clinch up. Zitska tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rico takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Johny Rico has been cut. Rico goes for a double leg but Zitska avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zitska continues to drive forward. Rico gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Rico has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zitska is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rico postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Zitska pulls Rico in close to his closed guard and prevents Rico from doing any damage or advancing position. Rico working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rico engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zitska controls Rico momentarily but Rico frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Milan Zitska wasn't active enough on the ground. Zitska avoids the body shot from Rico.
Rico changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zitska tries to avoid it but Rico manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zitska to the ground. Zitska escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Zitska scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Zitska darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Rico uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zitska.

Zitska gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rico goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rico lands a left hand that snaps the head of Zitska backwards. Zitska goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rico can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Rico. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rico keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zitska's efforts to push away. Rico takes a shot to the head. Zitska misses with a short punch on the inside. Zitska trying to control the position but instead, Rico has worked for underhooks and has pushed Zitska into the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rico.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zitska lands with a light punch inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both guys are working to get underhooks. Rico has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zitska uses from the top position. Zitska preventing the sweep. Zitska looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rico keeping moving, preventing Zitska from controlling successfully. Rico looking for a sweep. Not yet Rico, not yet. Zitska trying to control but Rico is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Milan Zitska. Zitska keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Zitska tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rico paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rico looking to score a takedown here. Zitska is defending well but Rico drives through and ends up in Zitska's guard. Rico scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Zitska utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zitska wants to stand but Rico is controlling the position. Rico might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rico is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zitska keeping moving, preventing Rico from controlling successfully. Zitska is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rico loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zitska is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Milan Zitska. Rico looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zitska slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rico being controlled here momentarily. Rico with a flurry of punches that miss. Zitska working a defensive guard here.
Zitska keeping moving, preventing Rico from controlling successfully. Rico is stalling in the full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Johny Rico wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rico takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rico dives in for a single leg takedown but Zitska sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rico doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Milan Zitska will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Johny Rico's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rico throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rico. Zitska does a little dance to reset his feet. Zitska smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Zitska misses with a head kick.

Zitska throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rico colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Zitska as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rico is left battered and dazed whilst Zitska and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Milan Zitska!
