Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Kouser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny DellaBuona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DellaBuona has managed to clinch.
DellaBuona lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Steve Kouser has been cut.

DellaBuona breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
DellaBuona fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
DellaBuona slips under a jab from Kouser.
Kouser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

DellaBuona shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kouser looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kouser had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. DellaBuona is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kouser Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take DellaBuona's back instead.

Kouser is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. DellaBuona is defending well though. Kouser let's go of the attempt for now.

Kouser is persistently looking for the submission but DellaBuona is defending it well.
Kouser is trying to stick to DellaBuona's back but DellaBuona is turning into Kouser. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kouser's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by DellaBuona.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kouser is on top in guard.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for DellaBuona. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

DellaBuona is trying to control the action in half guard but Kouser is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. DellaBuona connects with a nice short shot to Kouser's temple.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

DellaBuona takes the fight into the clinch.

DellaBuona will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kouser up against the cage.

Kouser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
