Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill Hayze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Garry Stout!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No luck for Stout with that takedown attempt.
Stout closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hayze counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stout tries to close the distance and clinch but Hayze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stout.
Garry Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayze clobbers Stout with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hayze leaves Stout with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bill Hayze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garry Stout.
Stout throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Hayze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hayze misses with a straight right.
Hayze lands a glancing blow to the side of Stout's head.

Horrible takedown by Stout or perhaps it was just good defense by Hayze which made him look bad.

Stout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stout tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hayze swivels and escapes.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stout.
Bill Hayze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hayze leaves Stout with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hayze cracks Stout with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Stout looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Stout walks into a jab.
Stout misses with a takedown attempt - Hayze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stout on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hayze scores with a punch to the head.
Hayze's jab looks to have found its range, popping Stout under the eye.
Stout fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stout tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayze sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stout somewhat.
Hayze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stout fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hayze avoids it really well and circles away.
Hayze cracks Stout with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Hayze dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Hayze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stout tries for a takedown but Hayze sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stout tries to clinch up but Hayze circles away and keeps his distance.
Hayze cracks Stout with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Stout is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hayze is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hayze.
Stout looks for a takedown but Hayze sprawls well.
Hayze misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stout.
Bill Hayze is winning the standup battle so far.
Stout tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hayze stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hayze wants it to stay on the feet.

Stout is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hayze throws a lazy right hand but Stout sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hayze throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stout stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Stout is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hayze sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Stout gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hayze scores with a jab.
Hayze pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stout back to the cage. Hayze follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Stout might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hayze has got the better of the exchanges.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hayze lands with an uppercut that bounces Stout off the cage and back into range.
Hayze uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stout has time to react.

Hayze thuds a left hand into Stout's body.
Stout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hayze ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stout moves away.
Nice cross by Hayze.
Stout tries to move into range but Hayze moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


Stout is rocked!
Stout swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hayze counters with a huge left! Stout is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hayze isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Stout from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hayze!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Hayze!
Bill Hayze decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
