Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Garavito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garavito comes to the cage accompanied by Make Them Suffer. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris blocks a leg kick.
Harris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Harris throws a jab when Garavito was well out of range.
Garavito takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Garavito misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Garavito. That did some damage!
Garavito tried to score with a low kick but Harris checks it.

Garavito motions for Harris to come forward. Garavito throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters circling a little - Harris finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Garavito buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Harris pushes Garavito up against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Garavito is defending well for now.

Garavito lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Harris tries to pull guard but Garavito holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.

Harris lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Garavito or not.

Garavito breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Garavito leaves Harris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Garavito ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Harris counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Garavito!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Harris winds up and cracks Garavito with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harris working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Garavito has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harris is working away from the top position though.

Harris seems to be working for a kimura but Garavito defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Garavito takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Garavito lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Harris stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Garavito.

Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but Garavito sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Harris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Garavito is fending him off so far but Harris persists. Nope, Garavito circles away and we're back to standing.

and Garavito counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Garavito.

Harris wants the takedown. Garavito is fighting it off but Harris persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garavito's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Luis Garavito will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garavito's guard.
Harris makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Harris throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garavito works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Harris looking to sit in guard and control but Garavito gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Harris has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Garavito is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harris.

Harris is not content to let Garavito control the position.
Harris wants to improve his position but Garavito is controlling well.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Luis Garavito wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Harris takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Harris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Garavito.
Garavito swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Garavito loads up on a big right hand but Harris slips the punch.
Garavito is looking to wear down Harris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Harris takes a swing at Garavito's ribcage but misses.
Harris has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Garavito.

I would just about give that final round to Paul Harris.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
