The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Donnelly's waist but Donnelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Philippou off to one side.
Philippou defending well as Donnelly loads up on a big left hand.
Donnelly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Philippou under the eye.
Donnelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Donnelly cracks Philippou on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Philippou falls backwards against the cage. Donnelly follows up with more strikes that drop Philippou to his knees. Donnelly keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Philippou! This one is all over!
