Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Bodacious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bodacious has chosen Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodacious gets caught napping as Hurley dives in and scores a takedown. Bodacious manages to retain guard.
Hurley distracts Bodacious with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hurley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bodacious, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hurley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hurley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hurley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hurley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bodacious is just riding it out for now. Hurley eventually gives up the hold.

Hurley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Oh Hurley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hurley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A clash of legs there as Hurley blocks the low kick.
Bodacious misses with a leg kick.
Bodacious changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hurley tries to avoid it but Bodacious manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hurley to the ground. Hurley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Luciano Hurley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Bodacious.
Bodacious shoots in looking for a takedown. Hurley tries to sprawl out of it but Bodacious keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hurley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hurley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bodacious manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bodacious takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hurley with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Bodacious might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hurley haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hurley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bodacious pinned against the cage. Bodacious gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hurley gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Bodacious gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Bodacious!
Jose Bodacious spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
