Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Idi Amin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Hammet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amin comes to the cage accompanied by Dangerous by Michael Jackson. Hammet has chosen Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical as his entrance music. Idi Amin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Idi Amin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gordon Hammet! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amin misses with a head kick.
Hammet shoots for a double leg takedown but Amin sprawls well. He's pushed Hammet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hammet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amin counters with a nice leg kick. Hammet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amin swivels and escapes. Idi Amin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordon Hammet. Hammet swings for the body but Amin moves out of range.
Amin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hammet misses with a combination
and Amin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hammet looks winded! Hammet tries to move into range but Amin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hammet blocks a head kick by Amin.
Amin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hammet misses with a double jab
and Amin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hammet fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amin lands a jab to the nose. Hammet avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hammet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hammet on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Hammet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Amin counters by clinching up. Hammet avoids the elbow strike from Amin, against the cage.
Hammet wants the takedown. Amin is fighting it off but Hammet persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Amin's guard against the cage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hammet looking to pass the guard. Hammet in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammet looking to pass the guard. Hammet loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Amin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Amin wants to stand and escape but Hammet is having none of it. Hammet is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Amin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Amin has escaped and now he's on top! Hammet is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Amin wants to control from the top but Hammet keeps moving. Amin wants to stand but Hammet has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Idi Amin. Hammet looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amin is fending him off so far but Hammet persists. Nope, Amin circles away and we're back to standing. Amin cracks Hammet with a right hand to the side of the head. Hammet misses with a takedown attempt - Amin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hammet fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Amin is out of range. Hammet misses with a double jab
and Amin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Amin lands a jab to Hammet's midsection. Amin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hammet sprawls well initially but Amin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Idi Amin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Amin lands with a shot to the body. Hammet throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hammet throws an off balance right hand
and Amin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hammet has his foot on Amin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Amin works his way back into a safe position though. Amin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammet on the ground. Amin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Amin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Idi Amin wasn't doing enough on the ground. Amin wants to clinch up but Hammet keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amin dives in for a single leg takedown but Hammet sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hammet wants to take the fight to the mat but Amin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Amin lands a shoulder strike. Amin landing knees to the body.
Hammet is breathing heavily. Amin is trying to maintain a safe position but Hammet gets an underhook and turns Amin into the cage. Amin stalling.
Amin stalling in the clinch but Hammet improves position. A body shot lands from Amin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Amin tries a knee to the head but Hammet blocks it.
Amin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hammet has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Come on Amin - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Amin is pressed up against the cage. Hammet has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Amin down to the mat. Amin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Amin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Amin lands a left and a right that send Hammet crashing to the mat, dazed. Amin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Gordon Hammet has been cut. Amin throws a quick head kick that knocks Hammet silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Amin is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Idi Amin! A very excited looking Idi Amin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
