Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Triston Rioka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Casados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rioka comes into the arena with Life Is Beautiful blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Triston Rioka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Casados! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casados misses with a takedown and Rioka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rioka works his foot free and advances to mount. Rioka with the ground and pound from mount. Rioka jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Casados manages to avoid the submission attempt. Casados is looking for a sweep. Rioka is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Casados has escaped the position, nice work there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Casados defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casados stops Rioka from passing to mount. Casados is looking for a sweep. Rioka prevents Casados from escaping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Casados tries to buck Rioka off but Rioka is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rioka tries to move into full mount but can't pass Casados's legs. Rioka wants to control but Casados is keeping him busy. Rioka is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Casados is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Rioka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Casados is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rioka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rioka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Casados is looking for a sweep. Casados keeps trying to improve his position. Casados prevents Rioka from moving into mount. Rioka trying to control the action but Casados is working from the bottom. Casados is looking to regain half guard here but Rioka keeps moving and retains side control. Rioka tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casados is not content to let Rioka control the position. Rioka cracks Casados with a big elbow. Rioka working the ground and pound. Rioka works to advance to full mount. Casados defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rioka cracks Casados with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Triston Rioka! An intense looking Triston Rioka took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: '13-1 looks pretty good eh? I can take down anybody, I can submit anybody, I want another great win streak and believe me, this is only the very beginning.'.
