The crowd seem to be enjoying Koski's choice of entrance music: Catatonic Overload - Heavyweight . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Callaghan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Koski!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koski scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Koski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Koski throws a head kick that misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koski, as that shot connected.
Callaghan misses with a left hand
and Koski counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Richard Callaghan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Callaghan.
Richard Callaghan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Callaghan works the jab nicely.
Callaghan doesn't manage to clinch there - Koski circles away.
Koski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Callaghan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Callaghan manages to avoid it.
Koski connects with the punch.
Koski avoids the head kick by Callaghan.
Koski throws a lazy right hand but Callaghan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Callaghan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A head kick misses from Koski.
Callaghan misses with a leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Callaghan, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Koski throws a body kick that misses.
Callaghan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Koski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Koski walks forward, straight into a front kick from Callaghan.
Koski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Callaghan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Koski.
Left hook, right uppercut from Callaghan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Callaghan swinging wildly here.

Callaghan drops Koski with a beautiful combination! Koski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Callaghan is looking for the KO!


It looks like Tomi Koski has been cut.
Koski cracks Callaghan with a right hand to the side of the head.
Callaghan scores with the left hand. Koski knows he should have avoided that one.


Koski is rocked!

Callaghan has Koski up against the cage in a clinch.
Koski is still on wobbly legs! Can Callaghan finish him?
Callaghan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Koski with a big uppercut! Koski tries to clinch up but Callaghan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Koski to the mat! Koski covers up and Callaghan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Richard Callaghan!
Our winner, Richard Callaghan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
