Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clarence Malone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Felix! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Malone is defended easily by Felix. Felix dives in and scores a takedown into Malone's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Felix drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Malone dives on top into guard. Malone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Felix has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Malone is looking to defend but Felix has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Malone! Felix pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Malone taps out and this one is all over!
