Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lesnar breaks from the clinch.
Lesnar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Slice throws a sloppy head kick and Lesnar moves out of range easily.
Slice gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
Lesnar throws a combination. Slice tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lesnar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Slice manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lesnar wants to stand but Slice has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice is trying to control the position but Lesnar postures up.
Slice utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Slice tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lesnar controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The crowd cheers as Lesnar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Slice doesn't seem phased though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice throws a poor cross that misses
and Lesnar counters with a series of strikes. Slice will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lesnar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slice tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Slice throws a series of punches but Lesnar moves out of range.
Lesnar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slice misses the jab.
Slice is looking to clinch but Lesnar is avoiding it.
Slice wants to clinch up but Lesnar keeps it at a distance.
Slice stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Slice darts in and clinches Lesnar up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lesnar breaks the clinch.

Lesnar lands a left and a right that send Slice crashing to the mat, dazed. Lesnar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lesnar thows a body shot but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice thumps Lesnar with a low kick.
Slice scores with a jab to the head.

Slice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Slice trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lesnar's guard.
Lesnar wants to stand up but Slice is controlling him.
Slice pushes down on Lesnar's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Slice winds up and cracks Lesnar with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lesnar is not content to let Slice control the position.
Slice not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lesnar wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slice is keen to just control but Lesnar is a slippery customer.
Slice misses with a head shot. Lesnar uses the momentum to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice won't allow Lesnar to sweep him here.
Lesnar has a closed guard, preventing Slice from standing up.
Slice preventing the sweep.
Slice postures up in Lesnar's guard and throws a big left but Lesnar blocks it.
Lesnar wants to stand but Slice is controlling the position.
Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lesnar is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Slice works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Slice is thwarting Lesnar's attempts to control the position.
Slice thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Slice wants to pass the guard but Lesnar is defending well.
Lesnar wants to control but Slice is keeping busy.
Slice thows a huge punch but Lesnar dodges it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lesnar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lesnar.
Slice landing with the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kimbo Slice's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Lesnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lesnar somewhat.
Lesnar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Slice wants to clinch.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.
Slice misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Slice with that takedown attempt.
Slice misses with a wild combination.

Lesnar clinches with his opponent.

Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice sprawl there from Slice as Lesnar shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lesnar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slice throws a big shot that misses.
Lesnar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice darts in trying to clinch
enabling Lesnar to counter with a crisp jab.
Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lesnar has a takedown stuffed.
Brock Lesnar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Slice looks for a takedown but Lesnar sprawls well.
Slice misses with a double jab.

Lesnar lands with a right that hurts Slice. Slice looks to clinch but Lesnar throws a short knee that drops Slice. This one is all over!
