Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Crook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Utter Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Crook had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Crook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Utter Bum!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bum shoots in and gets a takedown into Crook's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Crook has control of Bum's left arm, preventing Bum from doing any damage.
Bum forces his way into half guard.
Bum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bum is trying to control the action in half guard but Crook is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crook is trying to stand up here but Bum is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crook is doing well to control the position and prevent Bum from advancing to side control.
Bum seems to be looking for submissions.
Bum is looking for a kimura but Crook is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bum to get the leverage.
Bum trying to control the action but Crook is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crook is trying to stand up here but Bum is controlling him well.

Crook is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bum thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crook's head.
Crook is trying to stand.
Crook is controlling Bum's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Crook is trying to stand back up but Bum is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bum is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crook.
Crook jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bum bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Crook displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bum.
Bum slips a straight right by Crook.
Crook misses with a body punch
and Bum counters with a solid body kick.
Bum goes for a double leg but Crook avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Crook continues to drive forward.
Crook tries a body shot but Bum blocks it.
Bum is working for takedown but Crook is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nate Crook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Utter Bum.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bum has a couple of punches blocked by Crook.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bum tries to pull guard but Crook forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bum tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Crook gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bum.
Bum wants to break the clinch but can't.
Crook is looking to break free of the clinch but Bum has double underhooks.
Crook working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bum tries to break the clinch but Crook is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crook wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Crook gets underhooks to prevent Bum's takedown attempt.
Crook's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Crook misses with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nate Crook will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Crook throws an overhand right that drops Bum like a sack of potatoes! Crook dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
