Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Angeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Colver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Angeil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Colver! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angeil misses with a head kick.
Colver looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Angeil throws a right and a left that Colver avoids nicely. Angeil misses with a wild combination.
Angeil swings for the body but Colver moves out of range.
Colver stuffs the takedown attempt from Angeil. Angeil gets slowly back to his feet. Colver misses with a combination
and Angeil counters with a three punch combo that has Colver backing up. Colver nods at Angeil to acknowledge the strikes. Colver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice takedown defense from Colver. No joy for Angeil on that attempt. Colver throws a nice looking combination but Angeil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Colver fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Colver throws a right hand that Angeil ducks under and follows up with a left that Angeil also avoids with ease. Angeil takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Angeil fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Colver shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Colver was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee warns Angeil that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Colver has control of Angeil's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Angeil regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Angeil tries for a takedown but Colver circles away easily and Colver counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Colver swings away with a body shot that misses
and Angeil counters with a nice double leg into guard. Colver will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Colver has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Angeil can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Colver is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Colver can't keep hold of the triangle and Angeil manages to pass to side control! Colver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Angeil cracks Colver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Angeil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colver on the ground. Colver is looking to improve his position but Angeil isn't that keen on the idea. A much better position for Colver. Colver avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Colver looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Colver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Angeil is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colver landing strikes from the mount and Angeil is in trouble! Colver working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Angeil tries to reverse the position but Colver maintains control. Colver looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Colver prevents Angeil from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Colver lands a big shot there that rocks Angeil but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Colver is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Angeil is surviving well by controlling Colver's body position as best he can. Colver with shots to the head and body - Angeil looks very uncomfortable down there. Angeil regains half guard. Colver wants to lay and pray for a moment but Angeil keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Justin Colver will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Colver counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Colver drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colver tries to free his leg and advance position but Angeil is retaining full guard. Angeil wants to sweep but no luck. Colver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Angeil has a closed guard, preventing Colver from standing up. Angeil is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Colver is controlling him. Angeil is looking for a triangle but Colver pushes his legs off easily.
Angeil tries to land a sweep but no joy. Colver forces his way into half guard. Colver looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Angeil kicks Colver off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angeil shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Colver as he jumps to the side. Colver throws a combination. Angeil tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Angeil tries to clinch up but Colver circles away and keeps his distance. Ron Angeil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Colver looks to land a combination but Angeil avoids it well. Colver dodges the punch combination from Angeil.
Justin Colver is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Colver tries for a takedown but Angeil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Colver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Colver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
