Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angel Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrei Cote! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cote paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cote quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones throwing shots but Cote is blocking nicely. Jones is pressing down on Cote's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cote is holding on for now. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cote avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. Cote looks winded! Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. That's one minute gone in the round. Jones winds up and cracks Cote with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow. Jones is keen to just control but Cote is a slippery customer. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall. Jones wants to pass the guard but Cote is defending well. Jones winds up and cracks Cote with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cote really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones works his way into full mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones cracks Cote with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones lands a heavy elbow. Jones is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cote can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cote is rocked!
It looks like Andrei Cote has been cut. Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Cote is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him? Jones postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Cote out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Jones goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
