Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Obidiah Davis!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon misses with a right hand
and Davis counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Earl Dixon has been cut.
A big right from Dixon misses.
Davis slaps away a takedown attempt from Dixon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dixon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dixon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dixon misses with a looping left.
We've been hearing reports that Dixon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dixon throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.
A combination from Dixon does no damage.
Dixon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dixon misses with a shot to the body
and Davis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dixon throws a jab when Davis was well out of range.
Davis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dixon slips a jab from Davis.
Dixon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dixon throws an off balance right hand
letting Davis counter with a right hand.

Davis sends Dixon crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Davis is motioning to the referee to let Dixon up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Dixon is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis drops Dixon with a naaaaasty hook - Dixon is in real trouble here! Davis dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Obidiah Davis!
Obidiah Davis tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Earl Dixon spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry guys, I let you all down. I wanted to come out here and *sob* give you all a great show *sob* maybe my mum was right about all this.'.
