Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hilio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is AC/DC - Back In Black. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wilson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie darts in looking for a takedown but Wilson gets double underhooks and turns Gracie into the cage.
Wilson tries to land a knee to the head but Gracie blocks with his arms.
Gracie wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Wilson is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wilson down to the mat. Wilson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lee Wilson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Gracie looks to land a right hand but Wilson moved out of range.
Wilson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks.
Gracie bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head.
Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wilson finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wilson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Look low, kick high! Wilson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Gracie tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Wilson is absolutely delighted - when Gracie wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

In his post fight interview, Lee Wilson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
