Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Sakkara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mcgillicutty! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakkara takes one to the side of the head.
Mcgillicutty fails with a takedown attempt. Sakkara connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mcgillicutty momentarily.
It looks like Jack Mcgillicutty has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Sakkara slips a straight right by Mcgillicutty. Mcgillicutty bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sakkara looks to throw the jab but Mcgillicutty is out of range. Sakkara takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sakkara showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcgillicutty.
Sakkara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcgillicutty was well out of range. Poor timing from Sakkara. Sakkara moves away from the strike by Mcgillicutty. Sakkara feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mcgillicutty sprawling to the canvas! Mcgillicutty rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sakkara finish him?!
Mcgillicutty is rocked! Mcgillicutty cracks Sakkara with a right hand to the side of the head. Sakkara walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mcgillicutty drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sakkara swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mcgillicutty's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Sakkara! During a confident post fight interview, Marcus Sakkara thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
