Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster's entrance music is Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama. A fine choice. Carter has chosen Bob Dylan - Hurricane as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rubin Carter!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carter in his tracks.
Foster fails with a takedown attempt.
Foster tries to clinch but Carter moves away
and Carter counters with a low kick, right behind Foster 's knee.
Foster misses with a straight left.
Caleb Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Foster tries to clinch but Carter moves away
and Carter counters with a body kick that stops Foster in his tracks momentarily.
A jab lands there for Carter.
Carter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice inside leg kick there by Carter. That's going to slow Foster down.
Foster tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Carter counters with a nice body kick.
Foster walks into a straight right hand from Carter.
Foster walks forward, straight into a front kick from Carter.
Carter connects with a solid leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Carter.
It looks like Caleb Foster has been cut.
Foster is breathing heavily.
Carter is looking to slow Foster down with leg kicks.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch but Carter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Carter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Foster's head backwards.

and Carter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Foster on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carter. Carter obviously looking to wear him down.
Carter throws out a powerful jab.
Foster moves to clinch but Carter breaks away
and Carter counters with a huge left! Foster is in big trouble! He's backing up but Carter isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Foster from any more damage. A dominating finish by Carter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rubin Carter!
