And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Staton!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centurion misses with a straight right.

Staton closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Centurion's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Staton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Staton stands up over Centurion, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Staton throws an elbow that misses. Centurion uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Staton's guard. Nice move by Centurion!

Centurion is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Centurion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Centurion passes into half guard.

Centurion is trying to work for a kimura but Staton is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Staton can do anything to dispel that myth.

Centurion is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Staton has managed to free his arm - good work.

Centurion is working for a kimura but Staton is defending it quite comfortably.

Centurion is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Centurion seems to be looking for submissions.

Centurion is keen to just control but Staton is a slippery customer.
Centurion is looking to pass Staton's guard but actually Staton recovers to full guard.

Centurion drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Staton dives on top into guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Centurion has momentary wrist control but Staton slips an elbow through the middle.
Staton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Staton is working Centurion over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Staton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Staton throws a sloppy strike and Centurion has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Staton is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Centurion!
