Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eemil Tuhatkauno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hesh Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hesh Law will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eemil Tuhatkauno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hesh Law!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Law or perhaps it was just good defense by Tuhatkauno which made him look bad.

Tuhatkauno looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Law is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tuhatkauno is working for a submission of some sort.

Tuhatkauno wants to work for an arm triangle but Law is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tuhatkauno throwing shots but Law is blocking nicely.
Law is trying to stand back up but Tuhatkauno is controlling him
Tuhatkauno works his foot free and advances to mount.

Tuhatkauno has hold of Law's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Law manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Law tries to hold on but Tuhatkauno postures up.

Tuhatkauno landing strikes from the mount.

Tuhatkauno goes for an armbar but Law turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Law.
Law wants to pass the guard but Tuhatkauno is keeping the position.

Tuhatkauno wants to improve his position but instead Law has moved into half guard.
Tuhatkauno trying to get back to full guard but Law takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tuhatkauno is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Law pulls his head out easily.
Tuhatkauno might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Law wants to pass the guard but Tuhatkauno is keeping the position.

Law drops back looking for a leg! Tuhatkauno is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tuhatkauno manages to kick Law off! Law jumps back into Tuhatkauno's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Law is looking to advance position but Tuhatkauno won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tuhatkauno.

Tuhatkauno drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Tuhatkauno cracks Law with a big right hand but Law just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eemil Tuhatkauno dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Tuhatkauno shoots in and bounces Law off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tuhatkauno thows a big elbow that misses.

Tuhatkauno drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Law dives on top into guard.
Law tries to free his leg and advance position but Tuhatkauno is retaining full guard.

Tuhatkauno is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tuhatkauno is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Law tries to roll over but Tuhatkauno keeps him under control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tuhatkauno thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Law's head.
Tuhatkauno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tuhatkauno is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tuhatkauno looks to land a strike but Law avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Law keeping moving, preventing Tuhatkauno from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tuhatkauno feints and as Law raises his hands in defense, Tuhatkauno changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tuhatkauno wants to pass the guard but Law is keeping the position.
Law looking to control.

Law has momentary wrist control but Tuhatkauno slips an elbow through the middle.
Tuhatkauno with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Tuhatkauno is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Law escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tuhatkauno gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tuhatkauno thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tuhatkauno with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tuhatkauno content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Tuhatkauno trying to control the position from guard on top but Law is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tuhatkauno stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Tuhatkauno shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like Tuhatkauno is going to stand back up.

Tuhatkauno is looking for a kimura but Law is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tuhatkauno to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eemil Tuhatkauno dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Law moves in looking to clinch but Tuhatkauno pushes him off.

Tuhatkauno scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tuhatkauno lands a decent elbow from side control.
Law is not content to let Tuhatkauno control the position.
Law is looking for a sweep.
Law struggling a bit here.
Tuhatkauno lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Law down.
Tuhatkauno advances to full mount.
Tuhatkauno punishing his opponent with strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Law is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Tuhatkauno locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Law is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eemil Tuhatkauno!
