Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Tron has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Tron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mamed Chalidow!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalidow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chalidow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chalidow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tron as he jumps to the side.

Oooooh!!! Tron has knocked Chalidow down with a huge combo! Tron steps away and waves a wobbly Chalidow back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Chalidow is rocked!

It looks like Mamed Chalidow has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tron wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tron tries to bum rush Chalidow with a series of wild strikes but Chalidow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chalidow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chalidow somewhat.
Chalidow dives in and grabs Tron's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tron pushes down on Chalidow's head and hops out.
Tony Tron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamed Chalidow.
Chalidow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tron avoids it really well and circles away.
Chalidow looks winded!

Chalidow fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tron sprawls well initially but Chalidow persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Tron tries to roll over but Chalidow keeps him under control.

Tron wants to get back to his feet.

Chalidow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chalidow prevents Tron from improving his position.

Chalidow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tron doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chalidow.
Tron tries to roll over but Chalidow keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tron is working hard here to advance position.

Chalidow is working for a kimura but Tron is defending it quite comfortably.

Chalidow seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tron is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
