Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bighead fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bighead connects with a right hand. Akagono shakes it off.
Akagono wants to clinch up but Bighead keeps it at a distance.
Ole Bighead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bighead lands a nice looking body shot.
Bighead has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bighead jabs at Akagono's body.
Akagono keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bighead.
Akagono takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bighead avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Akagono tries to move into range but Bighead moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Bighead makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bighead uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Akagono tries to clinch but Bighead is having none of it.
Bighead bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Akagono's head.
Akagono is rocked!

Bighead lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Oh Akagono is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Akagono fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bighead pounces like a tiger and cracks Akagono with a vicious hook! Akagono is down but not out! Bighead follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ole Bighead!
