The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitzev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Zaitzev shoots for a takedown but Kersikov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kersikov has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Kersikov drops Zaitzev onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Zaitzev is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Kersikov lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Zaitzev to his knees! Kersikov keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
