Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piotr Kinseim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borys Mankowski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mankowski dives in for a single leg takedown but Kinseim sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mankowski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A short right hand to the side of the head by Mankowski. Mankowski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kinseim gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kinseim turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kinseim manages to end up in side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kinseim is trying to get an arm triangle but Mankowski is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kinseim trying to control the position but Mankowski is working away. Mankowski is looking to reverse the position. Mankowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kinseim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mankowski is not content to let Kinseim control the position. Mankowski is trying to control Kinseim's posture but Kinseim avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinseim trying to control the action but Mankowski is working from the bottom. Kinseim landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Kinseim working the ground and pound. Kinseim trying to control the action but Mankowski is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kinseim is trying to get an arm triangle but Mankowski is defending well. Kinseim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kinseim decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kinseim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mankowski's guard. Kinseim in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kinseim postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Kinseim wants to control from the top but Mankowski keeps moving. Mankowski pulls Kinseim in close to prevent any damage. Kinseim content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mankowski keeping moving, preventing Kinseim from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mankowski has momentary wrist control but Kinseim slips an elbow through the middle. Kinseim thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mankowski can do anything to dispel that myth. Mankowski can't keep his opponent in guard - Kinseim advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kinseim wants to stand up but Mankowski has a hold of him and won't allow it. Mankowski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kinseim pulls his head out easily. Kinseim is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Mankowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kinseim is working away from the top position though. Kinseim tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mankowski. Kinseim thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kinseim keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Kinseim tries to pass to full mount but Mankowski defends it. Mankowski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Kinseim dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kinseim shoots in looking for a takedown. Mankowski tries to sprawl out of it but Kinseim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mankowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Piotr Kinseim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kinseim tries to close the distance and clinch but Mankowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mankowski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kinseim but Kinseim pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mankowski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kinseim goes for a double leg but Mankowski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mankowski continues to drive forward. Mankowski breaks the clinch.
Mankowski is breathing heavily. Mankowski moves forwards but Kinseim connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kinseim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piotr Kinseim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kinseim fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mankowski to the ground. Kinseim is now in Mankowski's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mankowski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kinseim is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mankowski. Mankowski tries to improve position but can't. Kinseim stands up. Kinseim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kinseim dives in for a single leg takedown but Mankowski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mankowski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kinseim pushes Mankowski up against the cage in a clinch. Kinseim working aggressively here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kinseim stops a takedown attempt from Mankowski.
Kinseim lands with a short shot to the head. Kinseim manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kinseim is trying to keep Mankowski in close.
Kinseim kicks Mankowski off and gets to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kinseim thumps Mankowski with a low kick. Mankowski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kinseim swivels and escapes. Kinseim stalks Mankowski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mankowski's face. Mankowski staggers backwards, shaken. Kinseim sizes up Mankowski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mankowski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kinseim fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinseim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mankowski dives in for a single leg takedown but Kinseim sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kinseim pulls Mankowski into guard.
Mankowski wants to control from the top but Kinseim keeps moving. Mankowski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mankowski engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kinseim manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kinseim in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mankowski tries to hold on but Kinseim postures up. Kinseim postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mankowski looks a forlorn figure.

Piotr Kinseim dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kinseim throws a series of punches but Mankowski moves out of range. Jab by Kinseim. Mankowski throws a head kick that misses. Mankowski tries to bum rush Kinseim with a series of wild strikes but Kinseim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kinseim shoots in but no luck this time. Kinseim instigates a clinch. Kinseim jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mankowski walks away with a smile on his face. Kinseim gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Nice uppercut there from Kinseim. Kinseim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mankowski doesn't seem bothered though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kinseim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mankowski to the mat! Mankowski manages to get full guard. Mankowski striking off his back but it's not causing Kinseim any problems.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinseim throwing strikes but missing. Mankowski working for a triangle but Kinseim defends it easily.
Piotr Kinseim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mankowski throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Mankowski seems keen to control Kinseim's posture. Kinseim throws a strike but Mankowski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kinseim keeping moving, preventing Mankowski from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kinseim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mankowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mankowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mankowski wanted to stand there but Kinseim had control of the position. Kinseim keeping moving, preventing Mankowski from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mankowski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kinseim dives on top into guard. Mankowski has his foot on Kinseim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kinseim works his way back into a safe position though. Kinseim passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kinseim lands an elbow. Mankowski throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mankowski can't do much from the bottom here. Mankowski wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Kinseim works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Kinseim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mankowski keeps working. Kinseim cracks Mankowski with a big elbow. Piotr Kinseim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kinseim is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mankowski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Borys Mankowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kinseim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mankowski keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Piotr Kinseim showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kinseim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
