Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flo Wer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutaali Keijo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wer comes to the cage accompanied by My Sweet Lord by George Harrison. Keijo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CMX - Pyörivät Sähkökoneet. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Brutaali Keijo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keijo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wer.

Keijo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Keijo.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wer wants to control the pace but Keijo is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flo Wer dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Keijo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wer loads up on a big right hand but Keijo slips the punch.
Wer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Keijo looks to land a right hand but Wer moved out of range.
Wer looks to score with a jab to the body but Keijo is just out of range.
Wer doesn't manage to clinch there - Keijo circles away.
The fighters circling - Keijo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Keijo jabs Wer right on the nose. Wer blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Flo Wer has been cut.
Wer is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Wer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wer looks to land a body kick but Keijo moved away.
Wer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Keijo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice leg kick lands there from Wer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Keijo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Keijo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wer. That did some damage!

It looks like Brutaali Keijo has been cut.
Wer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Wer tried to score with a low kick but Keijo checks it.
Nice uppercut there from Wer.
Wer circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Keijo to the canvas! Keijo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Wer keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flo Wer!
Flo Wer retains his welterweight title!
A relieved looking Flo Wer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
