Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bishop wants it to stay on the feet.
Ansari fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bishop bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ground and pound from Bishop seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bishop wants to pass to mount but Ansari is defending the position.
Bishop is nestled in close to Ansari, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ansari is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Bishop dominated that round.

Ansari is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bishop sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bishop looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bishop scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ansari is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bishop can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Aziz Ansari spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back not matter how many times i get knocked out. I'm hard headed and wont stop. I'm coming for you.'.
