Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Breeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Breeze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Project Alpha! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alpha stuffs the takedown attempt from Breeze. Breeze gets slowly back to his feet. Alpha tries a head kick but it misses.
Alpha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Breeze. Alpha fails to land with a series of punches.
Alpha lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Breeze misses with a body punch
and Alpha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Breeze staying out of range there. Alpha connects with a body shot. A lazy left from Breeze finds it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alpha misses with a hook
and Breeze counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A momentary lapse in concentration from Alpha enables Breeze to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Alpha manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Breeze with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alpha is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Breeze missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Breeze postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alpha can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alpha is looking to stand up but Breeze isn't so interested in that idea. Breeze connects with a couple of short punches. Breeze with a flurry of punches that miss. Alpha wants to get back to his feet but Breeze is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Breeze working some strikes from top position. Breeze tries to free his leg and advance position but Alpha is retaining full guard. Breeze working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Alpha's head. Breeze wants to control from the top but Alpha keeps moving. Alpha has his foot on Breeze's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Breeze works his way back into a safe position though. Alpha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Breeze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Breeze is looking to work some ground and pound but Alpha has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breeze postures up in Alpha's guard and throws a big left but Alpha blocks it. Breeze postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Breeze throwing strikes from guard but Alpha blocks nicely. Breeze controlling from the top position. Alpha keeping moving, preventing Breeze from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breeze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Breeze with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Alpha seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Breeze throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breeze trying to control but Alpha is working from the bottom. Breeze postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Alpha attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Project Alpha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Breeze darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Breeze thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Breeze drops an elbow to the side of Alpha's head. Breeze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alpha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breeze missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Alpha is refusing to be controlled, as Breeze sits in half guard. Breeze works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alpha takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Breeze scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Breeze trying to control but Alpha is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Breeze landing punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Breeze darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Breeze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alpha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Alpha is looking to control Breeze's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Alpha avoid being mounted? Alpha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Breeze. Alpha looking for submissions off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Breeze lands a nice short elbow. Breeze missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Breeze landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alpha is trying to maintain the position but Breeze is very close to passing his half guard. Breeze scoring with strikes to the body and head. Breeze looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Alpha wants to get back to his feet. Ben Breeze overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Breeze lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Alpha wants to control but Breeze is keeping busy and won't allow it. Alpha is not content to let Breeze control the position. Breeze trying to mount his opponent but Alpha defends it. Breeze throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Alpha to regain full guard. Breeze lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Breeze is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Alpha can do to turn this around?

Alpha wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Breeze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Breeze showed some decent athleticism there. Breeze is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breeze looking to sit in guard and control but Alpha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Breeze wants to sweep here but Alpha controlling him for the moment. Alpha postures up in Breeze's guard and throws a big left but Breeze blocks it. Breeze has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Alpha has passed into side control.
Breeze is not content to let Alpha control the position. Breeze regains half guard. Project Alpha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breeze won't allow Alpha to pass to mount. Alpha stalling. Breeze tries to roll over but Alpha keeps him under control. Breeze actively working from the bottom here. Alpha is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breeze tries to lock up and control but Alpha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Alpha looking to finish with strikes here!

Breeze is not content to let Alpha control the position. Ben Breeze is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breeze keeping hold of Alpha's head, controlling as best he can. Breeze works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Breeze manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alpha manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Ben Breeze showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Breeze, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
