Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gus Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Lato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarkko Lato told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gus Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarkko Lato!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been told by Bradley's head coaches at IMMA Gym of ASS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Bradley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lato is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bradley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bradley has escaped and now he's on top!

Lato working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bradley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bradley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bradley is looking to work some ground and pound but Lato has wrist control.

Gus Bradley has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lato crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bradley - the referee stops the clock and Lato gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bradley. Lato manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Bradley has Lato pressed against the cage. He pushes Lato back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Bradley throws a beautiful elbow that sends Lato crashing to the floor! Bradley piles on the pressure with more strikes! Lato is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gus Bradley!
In his post fight interview, Gus Bradley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
