The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cisterna keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gore.
Gore throws a right hand that Cisterna ducks under and follows up with a left that Cisterna also avoids with ease.
Cisterna misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gore throws a lazy right hand but Cisterna sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Cisterna fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gore sprawls well initially but Cisterna persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gore pushes Cisterna off looking to stand but Cisterna dives back in and keeps control.
Gore flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Gore wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Cisterna will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cisterna tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gore paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gore reaches up to try and control the position but Cisterna seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gore rolls and tries to escape and now Cisterna has his back!
Gore is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cisterna.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cisterna gets his hands free as Gore looks to control.

Cisterna has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gore has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Cisterna really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Gore.

Cisterna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gore as he jumps to the side.

Cisterna walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gore throws a leg kick which misses Cisterna's front leg but catches the back leg as Cisterna tries to avoid it.
Gore stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A punch lands to the side of Cisterna 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Gore throws a sloppy head kick and Cisterna moves out of range easily.
Gore wants to land a leg kick but Cisterna is out of range.

Gore tries to clinch up but Cisterna circles away and keeps his distance.

Cisterna throws a push kick but Gore slaps the foot to one side.
Gore connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gore walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cisterna checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gore stuns Cisterna with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gore throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cisterna stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
