Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosh Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: PrideFC. On his way into the cage it seems that Cosh Boy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cosh Boy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson shoots in for a double leg but Boy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Erikson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boy avoids it really well and circles away.
Erikson tries for a takedown but Boy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cosh Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Erikson.
Erikson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Boy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Boy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Erikson as he jumps to the side.

Boy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Erikson has time to react.

Erikson has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Boy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Boy is looking for a kimura but Erikson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boy to get the leverage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Erikson tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Boy shoots in for a takedown but Erikson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Tom Erikson has been cut.

Boy drops a big shot to the side of Erikson's head! Oh, Erikson is out! He's out cold! Boy jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
