The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've been hearing reports that Yang has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Arlovski throws a left and a right that both miss

and Yang holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Yang is trying to trip Arlovski. He has hold of a leg but Arlovski is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Yang persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Arlovski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Yang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Arlovski is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Yang dives into side control.

Yang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arlovski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Arlovski is wriggling around trying to escape but Yang has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Arlovski taps out and Yang picks up the big win! Great work there by Yang!
