The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korzeniowski leaves Torrens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jonathan Torrens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Korzeniowski shoots in and drives through. Torrens sprawls well.

Jonathan Torrens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcin Korzeniowski.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Korzeniowski enables Torrens to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Korzeniowski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Torrens got a little sloppy there for a moment and Korzeniowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Torrens has managed to get both his arms back between Korzeniowski's legs - danger averted.

Korzeniowski has momentary wrist control but Torrens slips an elbow through the middle.

Torrens stands up over Korzeniowski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Torrens slips nicely into half guard.
Torrens is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Korzeniowski is rocked!
Torrens lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Korzeniowski! More strikes land and this one is all over! Torrens jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Torrens!
Jonathan Torrens decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
