Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles LaFontier!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lynch looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
LaFontier misses with a wild body shot.
LaFontier tries to clinch but Lynch moves out of range.
Lynch throws the kick towards the body but LaFontier avoids it.
LaFontier throws a solid leg kick but Lynch takes the impact on his shin and smiles at LaFontier.
Lynch thuds his shin into the meat of LaFontier's side.
Lynch takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
LaFontier tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lynch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lynch avoids a punch combination nicely.
LaFontier throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LaFontier fails to land with a series of punches.

Lynch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've been informed that LaFontier has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That was a close round but I would say that Eric Lynch will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lynch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lynch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lynch breaks from LaFontier's wrist control and lands an elbow.
LaFontier tries to hold on but Lynch pushes him away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaFontier manages to control the position for a moment.

A big strike lands for Lynch! That's really hurt LaFontier and he's turned his back - Lynch keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lynch jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Lynch!
