Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rawrl Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kazushi Nakamura! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rawrl Castro! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Kazushi Nakamura has been cut. Castro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Castro cracks Nakamura with an open hand slap. Castro connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Castro lands a big shot that drops Nakamura! Can he finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nakamura throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nakamura has his foot on Castro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Castro works his way back into a safe position though. Castro passes Nakamura's left leg - he's now in half guard. Nakamura is staying active underneath Castro, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nakamura has hold of Castro's hands but Castro slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Nice strikes from Castro there. Castro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nakamura is just riding it out for now. Castro eventually gives up the hold. Nakamura is refusing to be controlled, as Castro sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro tries to pass to full mount but Nakamura defends it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Castro tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Nakamura. Castro is pressing down on Nakamura's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nakamura is holding on for now. Nakamura is pressing down on Castro's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Castro landing with the ground and pound. Castro wants to pass the guard but Nakamura is keeping the position. Nakamura bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Castro's guard. Castro tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Castro is working Nakamura over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Nakamura keeping full guard, as Castro tries to pass. Nakamura avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nakamura looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nakamura is breathing heavily. Castro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakamura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nakamura can't keep his opponent in guard - Castro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Nakamura controlling the position for now. Castro sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nakamura defending well though. Castro missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Castro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Castro connects with a nice short shot to Nakamura's temple. Nakamura throws a strike from the bottom but Castro passes into side control!
Castro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Castro tries to move to mount but Nakamura blocks the move with his legs. Nakamura takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Castro has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nakamura! Castro lands a heavy elbow. Nakamura is wriggling around trying to escape.
Castro dominating with strikes here. Nakamura is desperately trying to improve his position but Castro has a good base and remains in mount. Castro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nakamura's face.
Castro lands a heavy elbow. Castro with shots to the head and body - Nakamura looks very uncomfortable down there. Nakamura is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castro tries to control but Nakamura wriggling away. Nakamura defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Castro. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Castro avoids the attempt from Nakamura to control. Castro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nakamura's face.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kazushi Nakamura's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
