Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vacilo Ai!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Andrew Berzins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berzins misses with a low kick as Ai jumps back.
An inside leg kick lands from Berzins.
Berzins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Berzins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Berzins scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Berzins throws a leg kick but Ai sees it coming and moves out of range.
Berzins moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ai is trying to pull guard but Berzins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ai manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berzins trying to control the position from guard on top but Ai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ai trying to keep a closed guard but Berzins is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ai is looking to cinch up a triangle. Berzins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ai's body to avoid the submission. Ai has instead reached around Berzins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ai arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Vacilo Ai!
