The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway leaves Kucera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Holloway is looking to clinch.
Holloway tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kucera counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Holloway!
Holloway wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Holloway can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kucera controls the position from side control.
Kucera has hold of Holloway's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holloway seems comfortable defending it but Kucera has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holloway is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holloway is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kucera couldn't care less - he's delighted!
