Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crushing Cows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crushing Cows has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cows throws a shot from downtown. Diggs moves away and avoids it.
Cows fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Diggs to the ground. Cows is now in Diggs's guard.
Diggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Diggs has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Top Team. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Cows has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've been hearing good reports from Cows's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cows connects with a nice short shot to Diggs's temple.

Diggs is pressing down on Cows's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Diggs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cows can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cows might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cows is nestled in close to Diggs, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Diggs gets caught napping as Cows dives in and scores a takedown. Diggs manages to retain guard.
