The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Frogger tries to get to full guard but Hicks has control of the leg.
Hicks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hicks is trying to control. Frogger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Frogger tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hicks has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Hicks prevents Frogger from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hicks manages to capitalize on a mistake by Frogger to take his back!
Hicks is looking for the choke from the back position but Frogger is controlling his hands well.
You can see the frustration on Frogger's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Hicks is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Frogger is tapping out! This one is all over!
