Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mayo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Atkinson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atkinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mayo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atkinson tries to avoid it but Mayo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atkinson to the ground. Atkinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mayo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Atkinson is fending him off so far but Mayo persists. Nope, Atkinson circles away and we're back to standing. Atkinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mayo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Atkinson throws a nice looking combination but Mayo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Atkinson throws a right and a left that Mayo avoids nicely. Atkinson stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Mayo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Atkinson misses with a two punch combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Atkinson keeping moving, preventing Mayo from controlling successfully. Mayo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Atkinson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mayo won't allow Atkinson to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Atkinson misses with the combination.

Mayo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Atkinson kicks Mayo off and gets back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Atkinson misses with a two punch combination.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Atkinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Atkinson throws a low kick but Mayo avoids it. Mayo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Atkinson misses with a wild combination.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mayo won't allow Atkinson to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mayo trying to control but Atkinson is working from the bottom. Mayo wants to pass the guard but Atkinson is keeping the position. Atkinson managing to control the position. Atkinson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Mayo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mayo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Atkinson tries to stall but Mayo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Atkinson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mayo checks a low kick from Atkinson. Atkinson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Atkinson misses with a takedown attempt - Mayo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Atkinson throws a combination. Mayo tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A left and a right from Mayo both land. Nice combination. Atkinson throws a combination that misses and Mayo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Atkinson's guard. Mayo wants to get up but he can't break Atkinson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Atkinson is looking to stand up but Mayo isn't so interested in that idea. Mayo wants to control from the top but Atkinson keeps moving. Mayo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mayo looking to sit in guard and control but Atkinson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Mayo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Atkinson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
