Taylor has chosen Tricky - Evolution Revolution Love as his entrance music. Nicholas Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Omar Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicholas Taylor! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little misses with a wild combination.
Little throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Taylor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Taylor lands in his opponent's guard. Little will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Taylor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Little is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Little wants to stand but Taylor is controlling the position. Little keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Little trying to strike off his back.
Little is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Taylor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Little is keeping the position for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Little shows good takedown defense. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Taylor looks gassed! Little lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Taylor sprawling to the canvas. Little follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Taylor hang on?
It looks like Nicholas Taylor has been cut. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Little looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Little not doing much here.
Little is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Taylor has managed to free his arm - good work. Little knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground. It looks like Little is going to stand back up.
Little throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor trying to hold on to Little's head to control him but Little postures up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Little thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Taylor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Little swats away the attempt to clinch by Taylor. Little throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taylor. Little doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.
Taylor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Taylor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Little gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Omar Little has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicholas Taylor. Taylor wants a takedown but no success here.
Little scores with an uppercut up the middle. Taylor is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Taylor jumps into guard, dragging Little to the mat.
Little has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Taylor is on top in guard.

Taylor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Little escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Taylor passes into half guard. Taylor seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Little is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
