Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Probst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Probst has chosen Control as his entrance music. Phil Laak could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeff Probst's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Laak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Probst! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laak with a hook. Laak throws a hook to the side of Probst's head but Probst sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Laak looks to land a combination but Probst avoids it well. Laak swings for the body but Probst moves out of range.
Laak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laak fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Laak darts in trying to clinch letting Probst counter with a right hand. Laak tries to clinch there but Probst circles away.
Probst throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Laak finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Laak throws a looping overhand right but Probst ducks down to avoid it. Laak tries to clinch up. Probst turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Laak. Laak has his takedown stuffed and Probst counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Probst tries to keep at a distance but Laak has taken the fight into the clinch. Probst misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Laak.
Laak lands a knee to the head.
Laak blocks an elbow strike from Probst.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Laak just misses with a elbow thrown towards Probst's brow. Laak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Laak blocks an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Probst scores with a nice short uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Probst stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Laak tries to land a knee to the head but Probst blocks with his arms.

Laak is looking to break free of the clinch but Probst has double underhooks. Laak misses with a punch to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Probst just misses with a elbow thrown towards Laak's brow. Probst blocking some punches.
Laak tries a knee to the head but Probst blocks it.
Probst misses with a hook from the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Probst. Probst throws a punch but it's blocked by Laak. Probst misses with an elbow over the top. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Laak. Laak misses with a short punch on the inside. Probst softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Laak pushes off an throws an elbow but Probst leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Probst lands with a short head shot on the inside. Laak stalling in the clinch but Probst improves position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laak landing knees to the body.
Laak throws a knee to the head but misses.
Probst avoids the elbow strike from Laak, against the cage.
Laak digs a right hand underneath Probst's ribcage. Probst let out a lung full of air as it connected. Laak lands with a short shot to the head. Probst has a couple of punches blocked by Laak.
Laak gets through Probst's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Laak tries to land a knee to the head but Probst blocks with his arms.

Laak misses with a low kick.
Laak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Probst shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Probst rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laak keeps the fight on the outside. Probst fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laak manages to avoid it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Laak gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Probst's face as Laak controls the position. Laak in side control lands a decent elbow. The referee asks Laak politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Laak prefers to stall for the moment though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Laak advances nicely into full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Laak dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Laak scores with a nice head shot. Phil Laak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Probst lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Laak lands a leg kick that knocks Probst off balance momentarily. Laak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Probst tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Laak paws at him with a jab and circles away. Laak fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Probst. A punch combination from Laak misses. Probst has closed the distance and engaged Laak in a clinch.
Probst misses with the head strike.
Laak scores with a shoulder strike. Phil Laak has scored more points in the clinch so far. Laak tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Laak. This has been an exciting period of action! Probst misses with a knee strike.
Laak lands a nice shot to the body. Laak lands with a light punch inside.

Laak fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Laak tries to circle away but Probst has him pinned against the cage. Probst blocks an uppercut.
Probst on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Laak lands an elbow just above Probst 's eye. Probst taking a breather. Probst is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Laak breaks from the clinch.
Probst waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Laak. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Laak. Laak misses with the combination.
Laak throws a body punch but Probst moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Probst. Laak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Probst counters with a series of strikes. Laak will be more careful next time no doubt. Probst checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jeff Probst is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Probst scores with a punch to the head. Laak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Probst. A punch combination from Probst misses. Probst takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Laak as Probst tries to tie him up. Laak lands a left hand.
Laak comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Jeff Probst has been cut. A head punch on the inside from Probst fails to land. Laak manages to break the clinch.
Probst shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Laak tries to land a front kick but Probst steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Probst throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Laak jabs Probst to the body, keeping him at a distance. Laak moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Laak thows a left - swing and a miss! The fight stays on the outside here - Laak looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jeff Probst is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laak getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Probst tries a head kick but it misses.
Probst fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laak manages to avoid it. Probst avoids the body shot from Laak.
Probst tries to clinch there but Laak circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Laak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Laak. Probst does a little dance to reset his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Probst lands with a straight right. Laak didn't see that one coming. Probst throws out a loose jab but Laak uses good head movement to avoid it. Laak looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Laak dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jeff Probst's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A right-left combo lands from Probst. Probst fails with an attempt to clinch.
Laak fails in his attempt to clinch. Probst stuffs the takedown. Phil Laak is winning the standup battle so far. Laak connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A shot to the body from Laak misses and Probst connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Probst pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Laak misses with a looping right. Laak lands a body shot.
Laak throws a lazy right hand but Probst sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Probst leaves Laak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Laak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Laak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Probst lands a head shot.
Laak is rocked! Laak misses with a jab to the body
and Probst counters with a huge left! Laak is in big trouble! He's backing up but Probst isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Laak from any more damage. A dominating finish by Probst!
