The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester drives through with a takedown into Tuppurainen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Lester looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tuppurainen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Tuppurainen is trying to control the action in half guard but Lester is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tuppurainen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lester is just riding it out for now. Tuppurainen eventually gives up the hold.
Tuppurainen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tuppurainen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lester tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tuppurainen!
