Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bj Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot has chosen Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Becks!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crash Bandicoot!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandicoot tries to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bandicoot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Becks's waist but Becks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bandicoot off to one side.
Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Becks swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bandicoot.


It looks like Crash Bandicoot has been cut.
Becks throws a leg kick
and Bandicoot counters with a nice body kick.
Bandicoot looks for a takedown but Becks sprawls well.
Bandicoot moves to clinch but Becks breaks away
and Becks counters with an inside leg kick.
Bandicoot slaps away a takedown attempt from Becks, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bandicoot looks to clinch
and Becks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bandicoot thinking.
Bandicoot fails to land the takedown.
Bj Becks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crash Bandicoot.
Bandicoot moves in looking to clinch but Becks pushes him off.
Becks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Becks throws a body punch but Bandicoot moves out of range.
Bandicoot tries to clinch but Becks moves away
and Becks counters with a straight right hand.

and Becks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bandicoot thinking.

Becks lands a really nice looking cross but Bandicoot seems unphased.
Becks tests Bandicoot's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bandicoot fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bandicoot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bandicoot shoots and misses
and Becks counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Becks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Becks keeps the fight on the outside.
Bandicoot darts in trying to clinch

and Becks counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Becks trying to control the position from guard on top but Bandicoot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bandicoot is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Becks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bandicoot's head.

Bandicoot looking for a guillotine here but Becks defends easily.
Bandicoot looking to control.
Bandicoot wants to get back to his feet but Becks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Becks postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Becks passes Bandicoot's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bandicoot is looking to get back to is feet but Becks passes into side control.
Check out the look on Becks's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Becks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bandicoot, who protects the arm well.
Bandicoot wants to control but Becks postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Becks scores with punches from side control.
Bandicoot looks to move to half guard but instead Becks has passed into mount! Damn!
Becks with good strikes from the mount here!
Bandicoot wants to control but Becks is having none of it.
Becks trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bandicoot can't escape the position.
Becks working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Bandicoot is squirming around, avoiding Becks's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Bandicoot really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bandicoot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bandicoot sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Becks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bandicoot with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Becks lands a nice short elbow.
Becks lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Becks prevents Bandicoot from improving his position.
Bandicoot throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Becks is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Becks seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bj Becks dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Crash Bandicoot's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bandicoot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Becks swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bandicoot moves to clinch but Becks breaks away
and Becks counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bandicoot closes the distance but Becks moves to the side

and Becks counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bandicoot!
Becks blocks the strikes from Bandicoot.
Bandicoot is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Becks off and has taken his back!
Becks wants to control his opponent's hands but Bandicoot gets his hands free.

Bandicoot working for a choke but Becks reverses nicely into Bandicoot 's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Becks passes into half guard.

Bandicoot looking for submissions off his back.
Becks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bandicoot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Becks pulls his head out easily.
Becks is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bandicoot!
Bandicoot is squirming around, avoiding Becks's attempts to control the action.
Bandicoot tries to hold on but Becks postures up.
Becks connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Becks scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Becks has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Bandicoot is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bj Becks!
