The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzzle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Putin manages to avoid it.
Putin lands with a nice body kick.
Putin ducks under a wild hook from Hanzzle.
Putin tried to score with a low kick but Hanzzle checks it.
Putin cracks Hanzzle with a right hand to the side of the head.
Putin throws a big shot that misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hanzzle, as that shot connected.
Hanzzle ducks under a wild hook from Putin.
Hanzzle throws a leg kick but Putin moved away.
Good standup being displayed there by Putin as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Yuri Hanzzle has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanzzle pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Putin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hanzzle.
Hanzzle loads up on a big right hand but Putin slips the punch.
Putin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been hearing reports that Hanzzle has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nice sprawl there from Putin as Hanzzle shoots in.
Putin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Putin walks into a jab.
Hanzzle misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanzzle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Putin's guard.
Hanzzle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Putin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hanzzle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Putin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Putin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hanzzle has his hands clasped together but Putin extends and breaks Hanzzle's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Putin.
