Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Carboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donkey Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong has chosen Brass Monkey - Beastie Boys as his entrance music. Cosmo Carboni could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Donkey Kong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cosmo Carboni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donkey Kong! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carboni but Carboni pushes him off and we're back to square one. A combination from Carboni does no damage. Kong jabs Carboni right on the nose. Carboni blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Cosmo Carboni has been cut. A head kick by Carboni misses and Kong counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carboni, pushing him back against the cage. Kong landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kong manages to break the clinch.
Carboni takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Carboni tries to keep at a distance but Kong has taken the fight into the clinch. Kong lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Carboni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A nice right hand lands inside from Kong. Kong lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Carboni or not. Kong presses Carboni against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Carboni is breathing heavily. Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kong cracks the inside of Carboni's front leg. Kong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kong cracks Carboni with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kong dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Carboni misses the shot to the body. Kong throws a good cross that connects.
Kong turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Horrible takedown by Kong or perhaps it was just good defense by Carboni which made him look bad. Kong scores with a sloppy right hand. Carboni should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carboni.
Kong lands with a right hand.
Cosmo Carboni's cut is getting worse. Kong lands with a shot to the body. Kong rushes Carboni and presses him up against the cage. Good body shot from Kong.
Kong lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Carboni or not. Kong unloads a knee to the mid-section. Carboni lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kong breaks the clinch.
Kong scores with a leg kick.
Kong jabs Carboni to the body, keeping him at a distance. Carboni on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carboni's calf. Kong is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carboni moves away. Kong lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carboni has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Nice uppercut there from Kong.
Cosmo Carboni's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice inside leg kick there by Kong. That's going to slow Carboni down. Kong lands a big right hand that sends Carboni crashing to the mat! Kong stays standing though and waves Carboni back to his feet! Kong shoots in for a double leg but Carboni sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cosmo Carboni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donkey Kong. Kong scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kong gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kong. Carboni takes a shot to the head. Kong gets through Carboni's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jeez, Cosmo Carboni's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong breaks the clinch.
Kong takes a swing at Carboni's ribcage but misses. Kong drops Carboni with a beautiful combination! Carboni stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kong is looking for the KO!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cosmo Carboni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Donkey Kong! Donkey Kong decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
