Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thompson connects with a nice short shot to Atkinson's temple.
Atkinson is trying to control but can't.
Thompson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Atkinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Thompson is trying to control the action in half guard but Atkinson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Thompson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Atkinson pushes Thompson off looking to stand but Thompson dives back in and keeps control.
Atkinson is refusing to be controlled, as Thompson sits in half guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Issac Thompson wasn't active enough on the ground.
A jab from Thompson misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Atkinsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Atkinson is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Thompson knocks Atkinson out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Issac Thompson!
