Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bancroft Rothschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rothschild might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Light. Onizuka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nate Dogg - First We Pray. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shinichi Onizuka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onizuka paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bancroft Rothschild seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Onizuka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Onizuka thuds his right hand into Rothschild's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Good leg kick by Rothschild there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rothschild takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Onizuka connects with a body shot that sends Rothschild's belly button to the back.
Onizuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rothschild sprawls well. Rothschild wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Onizuka gets slowly back to his feet.
Bancroft Rothschild has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinichi Onizuka.
Nice straight punches there by Rothschild. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rothschild.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Onizuka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rothschild's guard.
