Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christoper Puckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Dunnit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Christoper Puckett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Dunnit!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunnit looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Puckett wants to sweep here but Dunnit controlling him for the moment.
Puckett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dunnit trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dunnit throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Puckett seems keen to control Dunnit's posture.
Dunnit preventing the sweep.
Puckett controls Dunnit momentarily but Dunnit frees himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dunnit shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Dunnit is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Puckett has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dunnit passes into side control, despite Puckett's attempt to control the position.
Puckett tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dunnit wants to control but Puckett is keeping him busy.

Puckett is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dunnit off and has taken his back!

Dunnit is having to fend off submission attempts from Puckett, who is looking to sink in the choke. Puckett doesn't have the hooks in though and Dunnit manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Puckett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dunnit manages to get himself to full guard.

Dunnit is trying to control the position but Puckett postures up.

Dunnit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puckett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dunnit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dunnit striking off his back but it's not causing Puckett any problems.

Puckett drops back looking for a leg! Dunnit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dunnit manages to kick Puckett off! Puckett jumps back into Dunnit's guard.

Puckett has gone for a leg lock! Dunnit slips out almost immediately though and dives into Puckett's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hugh Dunnit dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Dunnit closes the distance and pushes Puckett back into the cage.

Dunnit has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Puckett uses from the top position.

Puckett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunnit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dunnit moves into the clinch.
Puckett is trying to break the clinch but Dunnit is controlling him.
Puckett is trying to force a seperation but Dunnit has the dominant position.

Puckett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Puckett's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Puckett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dunnit's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dunnit is trying to keep Puckett in close.

Puckett trying to control but Dunnit is working from the bottom.
Puckett looking to pass the guard.
Puckett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dunnit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Puckett's guard.
Dunnit would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dunnit trying to control but Puckett is working from the bottom.

Dunnit tries to stand but Puckett is controlling from the bottom.
Puckett looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dunnit puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Puckett wants to get back to full guard.
Dunnit wants to stand but Puckett has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Dunnit is keen to just control but Puckett is a slippery customer.

Dunnit perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Puckett makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Puckett.
Dunnit is breathing heavily.
Puckett keeping moving, preventing Dunnit from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Christoper Puckett will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Dunnit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dunnit working the ground and pound but Puckett is defending the strikes.

Dunnit slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dunnit must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Puckett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dunnit manages to get himself to full guard.

Puckett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dunnit defends it well.

Dunnit tries to get to full guard but Puckett has control of the leg.
Dunnit has a hand on Puckett's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Puckett takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Dunnit regains half guard.
Puckett prevents Dunnit from standing back up.
Dunnit has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Puckett is working away from the top position though.
Dunnit tries to get to full guard but Puckett has control of the leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Hugh Dunnit.
Well Dunnit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
