Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matoi Tsunetski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matoi Tsunetski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matoi Tsunetski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyle Locke!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsunetski closes the distance and clinches up with Locke, looking for a takedown. Tsunetski pushes Locke against the ropes but Locke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Locke gets in close and instigates a clinch.

It looks like Matoi Tsunetski has been cut.

Locke turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Locke manages to end up in side control.

Locke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Locke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Locke cracks Tsunetski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tsunetski tries to lock up and control but Locke gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Tsunetski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Locke is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tsunetski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Locke's back instead.
