Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Joseph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Snake! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

Joseph shoots in looking for a takedown but Snake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Joseph's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Alex Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snake clinches. Joseph has Snake pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Snake manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Snake prevents Joseph from breaking the clinch. Snake missing with knees to the body.
Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Snake shoots for a double leg takedown but Joseph sprawls well. He's pushed Snake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Snake shoots in but Joseph avoids the takedown attempt easily. Snake avoids the head kick by Joseph.
Snake gets in close and instigates a clinch. Snake tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Joseph just stands there and leans against the cage. Jake Joseph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Snake.

The referee warns Snake that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Joseph has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Snake's face.
This has been an exciting period of action! Joseph connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Joseph lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Snake is bucking up trying to escape but Joseph cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Joseph really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Joseph working Snake over with strikes here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joseph scores with a couple of good head shots there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Joseph putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joseph is pushing Snake up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Joseph tries to clinch but Snake moves out of range. Snake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joseph tries for a takedown but Snake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Snake is breathing heavily. Joseph doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Snake counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Joseph seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Joseph manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snake manages to get himself to full guard.

Joseph stands up from half guard. Joseph shoots in for a double leg but Snake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Joseph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joseph misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Snake shoots in but Joseph avoids the takedown attempt easily.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Joseph prevents Snake from escaping the position. Snake tries to bench press Joseph off him but Joseph keeps the position. Joseph cracks Snake with an elbow. That is naaassty. Joseph working the ground and pound from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Joseph working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Joseph dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Joseph throws a head kick but Snake moves out of range.
Joseph tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snake swats him away and circles back towards the center. Joseph misses with a head kick.
Snake moves into range and clinches up with Joseph. Snake fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Snake is trying to break free. Joseph tries to break free but Snake pushes him back against the cage. Snake has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. Joseph can't get the takedown.
Snake takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Joseph is looking to break free of the clinch but Snake has double underhooks. Snake wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Joseph is working for takedown but Snake is calmly controlling the position for now.

Joseph has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Snake clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Joseph avoiding Snake 's attempts to control his hands. Snake tries to roll but Joseph sticks to his back.

Joseph is not going to allow Snake to sit and survive in this position. Joseph lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Joseph.

Joseph lands a shot to the body. Joseph has Snake flattened out and is raining down punches. Joseph lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Snake.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Joseph is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Joseph gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Joseph gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Joseph apologises and we restart here on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Joseph showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Joseph, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
